These Prevention Services Providers work with direct-service, substance abuse prevention providers throughout Colorado to build technical skills and evaluation capacity. This skill-building effort is conducted through responisbilities such as information dissemination, training, and speaking engagements. The following list of providers are funded through the Federal Substance Abuse Prevention Block Grant monies, which are disseminated by the Colorado Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division (ADAD).

Program Description: CFERT is a collaborative project by Red Rocks Community College and Colorado State University to deliver statewide Parenting Prevention Services. This partnership is focused on the healthy development of young children, the strengthening of the family, and the mobilization of communities for the purpose of reducing the risk factors attributing to the abuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs and increasing the protective factors through appropriate parenting education. Services provided include the Parenting Information Clearinghouse and Resource Center, quarterly Parenting Matters newsletters, conference exhibits, Speaker's Bureau, Partners in Parenting Curriculum TOT, SKILLS Training, technical assistance and parent training.
