Academic Search Premier (EBSCO) 
A scholarly, multi-disciplinary database which contains full-text for nearly 4,500 serials, including more than 3,600 peer-reviewed titled. Over 8,000 journals are indexed and/or abstracted (as early as 1865 to present).
AgeLine 
From the AARP, abstracts the literature of social gerontology as well as aging-related research from psychology, sociology, social work, economics, public policy, and the health sciences. Links to public domain full text as well as for-fee ordering options are included.
Agricola (EBSCO) 
Records from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Library. Includes information on food and nutrition (from 1970-present). A free version of Agricola is available with no full text as the NAL Catalog.
Alcohol Policy Information System (APIS) 
Provides detailed information on a wide variety of alcohol-related policies in the United States at both State and Federal levels. Provided by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA).
Alcohol Studies Database 
Citations of over 80,000 research and professional documents dealing with alcohol, its use and related consequences. Contains a growing set of literature on other substances of abuse in recent years. Maintained by the Rutgers University Center of Alcohol Studies.
Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs Serials Database 
Information on over 350 journals, newsletters, and monograph series in the field of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. It includes both active publications and those that have ceased publication. Maintained by SALIS members at the ADAI Library.

Catalog of U.S. Government Publications (CGP) 
The CGP is the finding tool for federal publications that includes descriptive records for historical and current publications and provides direct links to those that are available online (from 1789 to present).
CDC Wonder 
A portal of links to a wide variety of reports and numeric public health data. Topics include chronic or communicable diseases, environmental health, health practice & prevention, injury prevention, occupational health and reference data.

Clinical Trials Network (CTN) Dissemination Library 
A digital repository of resources created by and about NIDA's National Drug Abuse Treatment Clinical Trials Network (CTN). It provides a single point of access to research findings and other materials that are approved for dissemination throughout the CTN and to the larger community of providers, researchers and policy-makers.
Computer Retrieval of Information on Scientific Projects (CRISP) 
CRISP is a searchable database of federally funded biomedical research projects. Includes projects funded by NIAAA, NIMH, SAMHSA .
Consumer Health Complete (EBSCO) 
Consumer-oriented health and wellness database covering topics such as aging, cancer, diabetes, drugs & alcohol, fitness, nutrition & dietetics, children's health, men & women's health, etc. Includes mainstream as well as holistic and integrated prespectives.
CORK: A Database of Substance Abuse Information 
Nearly 70,000 items on substance abuse primarily from the professional literature and include journal articles, books, book chapters, and reports (from the late 1970s to present)

EBSCO Animals (EBSCO) 
Provides in-depth information on a variety of topics relating to animals. The database consists of indexing, abstracts, and full text records describing the nature and habitat of familiar animals.
ECO (FirstSearch) 
An OCLC collection of scholarly journals (from 1995-present). PIC Currently has no online content in this database.
Effective Prevention Practices Database 
CSAP's Northeast CAPT has created an online, searchable database of effective prevention programs approved by a variety of federal and research agencies. The database allows visitors to compare selection criteria across agencies, review information about the sources those agencies used for their evaluations, and find contact information and descriptions of each intervention.
ERIC (EBSCO) 
The Education Resources Information Center indexes journal articles, books, and reports in education. This version includes full text from over 1,000 education-related journals that may not be contained in ERIC databases from other providers. MedicLatina (EBSCO) 
Spanish language collection of medical research and investigative journals published by Latin American medical publishers. Provides access to full text for nearly 100 peer-reviewed medical journals.
Medline Plus 
A National Library of Medicine site providing information on drugs and supplements as well as 740 topics related to conditions, diseases and wellness. Excellent source for consumer use or to locate information and brochures for clients. Also available in Spanish.
Middle Search Plus (EBSCO) 
For middle and junior high school students, with 140 full text titles (with Lexile reading level), as well as historical essays, 84,700 biographies, over 235,000 images, and 100,000 primary source documents.
National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information (NCADI) 
NCADI is a one-stop resource for information about substance abuse prevention and addiction treatment. View and order free government reports, manuals, brochures, webcasts, and posters.
Native Health Database 
Current and historical (from 1652) bibliographic information and abstracts of health-related articles, reports, surveys and more pertaining to the health and health care of American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Canadian First Nations. Free electronic delivery of up to 10 articles per day is available if the resource is owned by the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Library and Informatics Center.
Newspaper Source (EBSCO) 
Selected full text from 25 national and 260 regional US newspapers including the Denver Post, Greeley Tribune and Pueblo Chieftain, and transcripts from TV and radio news.
NCJRS Abstracts Database 
The NCJRS Abstracts Database contains summaries of the more than 190,000 criminal justice, juvenile justice, and substance abuse resources housed in the National Criminal Justice Reference Service Library collection (from 1975 to present).
NIH Senior Health 
A consumer health information web site developed for older adults by the National Institute on Aging and the National Library of Medicine. The site is "senior friendly," offering the ability to enlarge the text, turn on high contrast, and have the text read aloud.

Science.gov 
Science.gov is a gateway (metasearch site) to the citations, abstracts, and full text of authoritative selected science information provided by U.S. Government agencies including research and development results. Includes medical, mental health, and some relates substance abuse materials.

(Grades K-6+) A colorful, easy-to-use search interface for elementary and middle school students. Searchasaurus provides access to magazine articles, pictures, encyclopedias, and a dictionary through an animated interface with a dinosaur theme.
